Nomadworks signs 122 West 27th Street lease for 33,783 sq ft

The 16-year lease is set in Rosen family’s 12-story building and carries asking rent of $32 per square foot.

Coworking operator Nomadworks has secured a new Manhattan location in Chelsea, taking a 33,783-square-foot lease at 122 West 27th Street, according to Commercial Observer.

The space will span the ninth, 10th, and 11th floors of the Rosen family’s 12-story office building, establishing Nomadworks’ fourth New York City location, roughly two blocks west of Madison Square Park.

Commercial Observer reports the lease was signed in early September and includes a 16-year term with asking rent of $32 per square foot.

The deal was represented by Koeppel Rosen’s Max Koeppel for the landlord, while LSL Advisors negotiated on behalf of Nomadworks, whose CEO Steven Cohen said Chelsea is a natural next step given the area’s tech and artificial intelligence community.
