S&P 500 tops August record as oil and rates stay elevated
The index gained 0.6 percent on Tuesday and is up more than 14 percent for the year so far.
The S&P 500 rose 0.6 percent on Tuesday, pushing past its prior record high set in August, according to NYT Business.
The new peak lifted the index’s year to date gain to more than 14 percent.
