Saga partners with Allianz UK to launch a pet insurance product in November
The insurer says the rollout helped reduce referrals and lift its quote rate by 15%, and the product will be available to Saga customers starting in November.
Saga, a UK company focused on people over 50, is launching a pet insurance product in November.
The offering was developed in partnership with Allianz UK, which will bring insurance expertise while Saga provides what it describes as customer understanding for its target audience.
Allianz Specialty Managing Director Isabella Von Mesterhazy said the firms created a bespoke proposition for Saga customers.
The company said the change reduced referrals and contributed to a 15% increase in its quote rate, and it also cited broader multi partner distribution work in the UK, including partnerships with Zurich, Ageas, and AXA.
