SRIT India shares surge on debut as Shah Investor's Home gains modestly
SRIT India opened at ₹148 on the NSE, later hitting the 5% upper circuit and trading more than 19% above its issue price, while Shah Investor's Home opened at ₹171 with a smaller premium.
SRIT India logged a strong debut on the bourses on Tuesday, October 6, with shares opening at ₹148 on the NSE, a 13.85% premium over the IPO issue price of ₹130. On the BSE, the stock opened at ₹139.80, up 7.5% from the issue price, before later hitting the 5% upper circuit and trading more than 19% above its issue price.
Shah Investor's Home, by comparison, saw a more muted opening. The stock debuted at ₹171 on both the NSE and BSE, representing a 2.4% premium over its issue price of ₹167, and it rose more than 2% from its listing price to trade over 4% above the issue price.
The differing debut performances reflected subscription levels cited by LiveMint Markets, with SRIT India’s IPO oversubscribed and Shah Investor’s Home’s IPO described as moderately subscribed.
