Trinity Capital and Mortenson buy 15-acre industrial site in Richmond

The joint venture plans two rear-load industrial buildings totaling 231,120 square feet, with construction set to start in summer 2027 and delivery expected in Q3 2028.

ConnectCRE reports that Trinity Capital Advisors, in a joint venture with Mortenson Properties, has acquired a 15-acre industrial development site in Northlake Business Park in Hanover County, marking their entry into the Richmond market.

The planned development will include two rear-load industrial buildings totaling 231,120 square feet, designed to fit a broad range of prospective users in a supply-constrained submarket.

Construction is expected to begin in summer 2027, with delivery anticipated in the third quarter of 2028, and Mortenson will serve as the project’s general contractor.
