USDJPY stays confined as oil rebounds and yields fall
Forexlive said the US dollar against the Japanese yen remained confined, even as risk sentiment improved and markets chased records.
The outlet linked the move to crude rebounding on rising tensions around the Hormuz region, while Treasury yields fell.
It also noted that the US trade deficit widened for August to -105.6 billion, compared with -102.0 billion, alongside the broader market strength.
Forexlive added that Bitcoin remained range-bound, while the Magnificent 7 (excluding Nvidia) lagged as Treasuries saw selling, including a $58 billion 3-year notes sale at a yield of 4.932%.
