Alliant Insurance adds Jeff Severino to Kansas City benefits team
Severino, a 25-year program design veteran, joins Alliant Affinity, which serves associations and other member-based groups through aggregated coverage programs.
Alliant Insurance Services has hired Jeff Severino as a vice president within its employee benefits group, where he will join the Alliant Affinity team in Kansas City, Insurance Business reports. The firm said the move adds a specialist in association and affinity program design to a practice it has been staffing nationally.
The Alliant Affinity team operates within Alliant's employee benefits group and focuses on building and managing benefits programs for associations, alumni groups, and other member-based organizations. Insurance Business notes that these programs differ from standard employer-sponsored benefits consulting, with members typically accessing coverage through aggregated programs rather than individual employer plans.
The outlet said Severino brings 25 years of experience across brokerage, underwriting, and client advisory, with a focus on program business in the association and affinity market. His background also includes property and casualty, professional liability, management liability, and cyber programs, according to Insurance Business.
