Bitcoin slips below $82,000 as yields, energy and the dollar firm

CoinDesk said rising Treasury yields, higher energy prices, and a stronger dollar weighed on bitcoin, alongside weakness in tech.

Bitcoin moved down from its recent trading range, sliding back to around $82,000, according to live updates from CoinDesk.

The outlet attributed the decline to a mix of macro pressures, including rising Treasury yields, surging energy prices, and a stronger US dollar.

CoinDesk also flagged weakness beyond crypto, noting that silver fell below $59 an ounce while bitcoin and tech came under pressure.
