China and EU trade talks start in Beijing, but breakthrough seen as unlikely

Chinese firms in Europe are looking for limited progress, while a Chinese source said EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic will not leave without results.

China and the European Union kicked off a fresh round of trade talks in Beijing on Thursday, with observers on both sides signaling that a major breakthrough is unlikely.
