Ethereum upgrade rehearsal on Sepolia raises block gas allowance
The Sepolia rehearsal increased the processing budget more than threefold, to nearly 200 million gas per block, though sampled blocks used under half that limit.
CoinDesk reports that Ethereum’s Sepolia test, part of the “Glamsterdam” upgrade rehearsal, is running near a block gas level of about 200 million.
The outlet said the rehearsal raised the network’s processing budget by more than threefold, but blocks sampled during the test used less than half of that allowance.
