InCred flags upside in select Indian pharma stocks before Q2FY27 results

InCred Equities says rupee depreciation could support export oriented pharma earnings in Q2FY27, while input costs and freight remain margin risks.

InCred Equities expects several Indian pharmaceutical companies to post strong results in the second quarter of FY27, highlighting Sun Pharma, Ajanta Pharma, Ipca Labs, Mankind Pharma and Acutaas Chemicals as likely key performers, according to a LiveMint Markets account of the brokerage note.

The brokerage remains bullish on Acutaas, Mankind Pharma and Ipca Labs, citing potential upside of up to 49.89%, while it expects some pressure in Q2FY27 for Dr Reddy's Labs, Divi's Labs, Lupin, Cipla, Torrent Pharma and Blue Jet Healthcare.

InCred said reported figures for export oriented pharma companies are likely to benefit from Indian rupee depreciation, but warned that high freight costs and input costs will stay the margin watch.

In a separate stock specific call, InCred issued an Add rating with a target price of ₹4,757 per share for Acutaas Chemicals.
