Killer in Poland school attack used helmet camera, officials warn

A 15-year-old former pupil killed one employee and injured two others in a Polish primary school attack on Thursday, authorities said, calling it the second stabbing at a school in two days.

The attacker wore a helmet-mounted camera, officials said, and the incident took place at around 9am local time in Leszczydol-Nowiny, northeast of Warsaw; a 37-year-old caretaker also died.

HousingWire reports Prime Minister Donald Tusk said officials fear a grim copycat phenomenon, and he warned authorities are dealing with a killer who intended to film the knife attack.

It was not clear whether the attack was actually filmed, according to the report, which also referenced a Wednesday attack in Ostroleka where a 19-year-old wounded 10 people including himself.
