Kyntra launches as MISSION-backed MGA to provide niche property cover
The Dublin-based managing general agent will offer primary, first-loss, excess-of-loss, and co-insurance capacity for Irish and UK brokers, including standard and non-standard construction risks.
Kyntra, a MISSION-backed managing general agent (MGA), has entered the property insurance market to provide cover for risks that fall outside standard insurer appetites, with a focus on bridging capacity gaps across Ireland and the UK.
The Dublin-based firm, led by co-founders and co-CEOs David Gibson and Robert Purser, plans to offer property capacity spanning primary, first-loss, excess-of-loss, and co-insurance for property-owner and operational risks, including standard and non-standard construction.
Kyntra said it is targeting sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, accommodation and leisure, extending to office blocks and unoccupied property, and that it will assess each submission on its own merits.
Mission will act as Kyntra’s capital partner and provide full back-office support, enabling the MGA team to focus on serving brokers, according to the company.
