NFL urges states to regulate sports prediction contracts as gambling
The NFL, in an amicus brief filed with the U.S. Supreme Court, backed New Jersey regulators in their dispute with Kalshi, arguing that sports prediction contracts function as gambling.
According to CNBC Markets, the league is asking for regulation at the state level to address how these contracts are treated.
