WhiteBIT integrates Lightning Network for faster Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals

WhiteBIT said deposits and withdrawals via Lightning can use a QR code or payment details, with a 0.25% deposit fee and 0.15% withdrawal fee.

Bitcoin Magazine reports that the Swiss crypto exchange WhiteBIT has integrated the Lightning Network to help users move bitcoin more quickly and efficiently.

The outlet said the exchange is enabling bitcoin withdrawals and deposits over the second layer, powered by BTC infrastructure provider Voltage, and that users can initiate Lightning transactions using a QR code or payment details.

Bitcoin Magazine also noted WhiteBIT’s fee schedule for Lightning-based activity, citing a 0.25% deposit fee and a 0.15% withdrawal fee.
