WTO says AI-linked spending offset Middle East trade drag
The World Trade Organization said the slowdown in global trade linked to the war in the Middle East has been more than offset by spending on goods related to artificial intelligence, according to NYT Business.
NYT Economy also highlights the same WTO view that AI-related procurement is helping support more resilient global growth despite the trade drag tied to the conflict.
