Planned Community Developers closes on Pearland mixed-use project site

The Orchard will cover 120 acres at Highway 288 and Beltway 8, with about 1,100 multifamily units and roughly 250,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space.

Planned Community Developers (PCD) has closed on the 120-acre site for The Orchard, a mixed-use destination in Pearland at Highway 288 and Beltway 8, according to ConnectCRE.

ConnectCRE says the development follows Pearland City Council approval and is set to combine retail, dining, entertainment, office and residential components.

ConnectCRE reports The Orchard will include approximately 250,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space, 150,000 to 300,000 square feet of Class A office, and about 1,100 multifamily units.

For leasing, ConnectCRE adds that PCD selected CBRE’s Jazz Hamilton and Rusty Lilley to lead retail leasing for roughly 250,000 square feet planned across the development.
