BridgePrep Academy leases 56,000 square feet in Miami shopping center
The 56,000-square-foot site will be in the 273,050-square-foot California Club Shopping Center in Ives Estates, according to the lease announcement.
BridgePrep Academy, a charter school network, has signed a lease for 56,000 square feet inside the California Club Shopping Center in Ives Estates, Miami-Dade County, Commercial Observer reported. The new location is described as being near Aventura, about 15 miles north of Downtown Miami.
The shopping center spans 273,050 square feet and is located at 750 Ives Dairy Road, west of Interstate 95, the outlet said. Other tenants at the property include Planet Fitness, Five Below, and Burlington.
Commercial Observer also noted that BridgePrep has 19 locations across Florida and that its new space replaces a prior lease held by Waterways Preparatory Academy @ Kropp Annex, part of the public Dade County School District.
CBRE’s Scott Goldstein, who represented the tenant, said in a statement that Miami does not have a surplus of properties suitable for educational operators and that the teams “moved quickly,” according to the report.
