EU deal sets limits on Chinese hybrid vehicle exports
The agreement is expected to cut hybrid vehicle shipments from China by about half over the next four years, while raising concerns that China’s auto industry could expand further.
The European Union said a trade deal with China could roughly halve shipments of Chinese hybrid vehicles to the bloc over the next four years, according to NYT Business.
The outlet also noted the deal includes limits, but it could still leave the Chinese auto industry positioned to become stronger over time.
