Seward & Kissel renews 171,112-sf lease at One Battery Park Plaza
The renewal keeps the firm in the Financial District for 11 years, where it has occupied floors 19 through 24 since 2011.
Seward & Kissel has renewed its office lease for 171,112 square feet at One Battery Park Plaza, a 35-story tower at 24 State Street in Lower Manhattan.
According to Commercial Observer, the firm extended the lease for 11 years with Rudin and Allianz Real Estate, and the asking rent was not disclosed, while CBRE’s third-quarter 2026 office report showed average asking rent for Lower Manhattan offices at $62.40 per square foot.
The firm has been in the building since 2011 and occupies the 19th through 24th floors, and the renewal is described by Rudin co-CEO Michael Rudin as part of ongoing leasing activity for the building and the Downtown market.
Commercial Observer also notes that One Battery Park Plaza overlooks Battery Park and that other tenants include a financial advisory firm.
