BSX lists 169 new cat bond and ILS structures through Q3 2026
Total ILS listings at the Bermuda Stock Exchange slid to about $67.4 billion by Sept. 30 after maturities and early redemptions cut the value from roughly $70.5 billion at midyear.
Artemis reports that the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) listed 169 new catastrophe bond notes and insurance-linked securities structures in the first three quarters of 2026, keeping its lead as a listings hub for ILS.
The outlet said the exchange’s total ILS listing value fell through the third quarter, reflecting a heavy maturity load and early redemptions of mortgage insurance-linked notes. The figure declined slightly to almost $67.4 billion of cat bond and ILS listings as of Sept. 30, down from as high as $70.5 billion after the first half.
Artemis also reported that BSX newly listed 146 ILS-related securities and program structures valued at nearly $16.5 billion through June 30. By Sept. 30, that had increased to 169 new listings totalling nearly $17.8 billion, and the BSX had 731 cat bond listings in total as of that date.
