Chris Giguere becomes North American Millers’ Association chair for 2026-28

Giguere was installed at the NAMA board meeting on Oct. 2 during the 2026 annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas, succeeding Tedd Kruse.

World Grain reports that Chris Giguere, president and chief executive officer of Iowa Corn Processors, became the new chair of the North American Millers’ Association.

He officially took the role at the NAMA board gathering on Oct. 2 during the 2026 annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas, for the 2026-28 term, succeeding Tedd Kruse, president of ADM Milling and Baking Solutions.

In an interview, Giguere said he expects to bring a different perspective because he oversees a smaller, family-owned operation and is among the youngest leaders or chairs in the association’s history.

He also pointed to a broader generational transition in the milling industry as a theme of the annual meeting, which he said framed the leadership shift.
