Spring EQ leases full seventh floor at Brandywine's Cira Centre

The home equity lending firm is relocating about 250 staff from Conshohocken and Mount Laurel to Philadelphia under a 27,000 square foot 7th-floor lease.

Spring EQ is relocating to Brandywine Realty Trust's office tower, Cira Centre, in Philadelphia, signing a lease for 27,000 square feet on the building's full seventh floor, according to Bisnow. The company will move into 2929 Arch St. after previously occupying space at Cira Centre and later shifting to suburban offices.

Bisnow reports that Spring EQ originally took up half of the fifth floor when it first occupied Cira Centre, went fully remote during the pandemic, and then returned with suburban locations in 2022. The company is now combining its sales, operations, and technology personnel back under one roof.

The outlet says Spring EQ is moving 150 people from 1 W. Elm St. in Conshohocken and another 100 from 300 Fellowship Road in Mount Laurel. Cira Centre is a 29-story, 730,000 square foot building completed in 2005 and located next to Amtrak's 30th Street Station.

Bisnow also notes that Cira Centre has 115,000 square feet of office space available, roughly 16%, based on Brandywine's website.
