Strive adds 3,311 bitcoin for $280 million, lifting holdings to 32,773 BTC
The company paid about $84,500 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses, and reported the increase via an SEC 8-K filed Tuesday.
Strive, a Vivek Ramaswamy-founded bitcoin holder, bought 3,311 BTC between Oct. 5 and Oct. 9, bringing its total treasury to 32,773 bitcoin as of Oct. 9, according to an SEC 8-K filing reported by The Block.
The purchase is valued at about $280 million and marks Strive’s largest increase in bitcoin holdings since January, when it acquired roughly 5,048 BTC through an all-stock merger with Semler Scientific.
Strive paid an average of approximately $84,500 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses, the filing showed.
The Block added that Strive’s move narrows the gap with MARA and keeps it among the top five public company bitcoin holders.
