Vedanta, TCS and Continental Controls set Oct 14 record dates for payouts
With India’s T+1 settlement cycle, Oct 13 is the last trading day to buy shares and qualify for the Oct 14 record dates.
LiveMint Markets said Vedanta Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, and Continental Controls set October 14 as the record date for dividend and rights issue corporate actions.
The outlet said Energy Infrastructure Trust also fixed October 14 as the record date for income distribution.
Because the Indian stock market follows a T+1 settlement cycle, investors generally need to own the stock before the record date, making Tuesday, October 13, the effective last day to buy to qualify.
LiveMint Markets added that Vedanta has announced an interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share, with the total dividend amounting to ₹1,955 crore.
