Arrow Global to buy Fusion Specialty Group MGA via Arrow Global Insurance

The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026 after regulatory approvals and is expected to expand AGI’s specialty MGA roster.

Arrow Global Group will acquire Fusion Specialty Group, a specialist managing general agent platform, through Arrow Global Insurance (AGI), the companies said. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, after regulatory approvals and subject to customary closing conditions, Reinsurance News reported.

Fusion operates an underwriting franchise for policyholders across international specialty, non-catastrophe markets, using Arrow-backed MGAs and rated risk-bearing capacity combined with Arrow’s investment capabilities. Since launching, Fusion has processed more than 23,000 submissions and written about £290 million in gross written premium for roughly 1,500 policyholders, with premium volume more than doubling over the past two years.

The acquisition is also intended to strengthen AGI’s platform by adding another established specialist MGA with a track record in underwriting. Arrow said combining AGI with Halldora Re Ltd, its reinsurer, and the broader Arrow platform would give its MGAs access to long-term underwriting capacity, institutional capital, and scalable infrastructure to support growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.

Arrow’s CEO and Chief Investment Officer Zach Lewy said AGI combines underwriting businesses with institutional capital, reinforcing Arrow’s strategy for disciplined growth in specialty insurance. Fusion founder and executive chairman David Rogers said Arrow’s backing, including reinsurance capacity behind Halldora Re, would accelerate Fusion’s growth and potential, and he plans to remain involved after the deal.
