Guy Carpenter appoints Dennis Sugrue to lead International Business Intelligence

Sugrue’s new role will focus on building industry risk insights, working with Guy Carpenter’s Broking, Analytics, and Advisory teams.

Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance broking arm of Marsh, has appointed Dennis Sugrue as Head of International Business Intelligence.

In the role, Sugrue will lead development of industry risk insights used to support the firm’s thought leadership and client solutions, and he will work closely with Broking, Analytics, and Advisory teams.

The appointment draws on Sugrue’s more than two decades of experience at the intersection of regulation, ratings, capital markets, and re/insurance, according to Reinsurance News.

Sugrue previously served as a Managing Director at HSBC for more than two years, after an 18-year tenure at S&P Global Ratings, Reinsurance News said.
