ASR appoints Kieran Wilson as Senior Energy Underwriter
The London-based role is aimed at expanding and underwriting ASR’s energy portfolio across Africa and other emerging markets.
Africa Specialty Risks (ASR) has appointed Kieran Wilson as Senior Energy Underwriter, a new role based in London focused on expanding and underwriting the company’s energy portfolio.
According to the re/insurance group, Wilson will work closely with brokers to grow ASR’s oil, gas and broader energy operations throughout Africa and other emerging markets.
ASR said Wilson will report to Suzan Pardesi, Head of Energy and Deputy Active Underwriter for Syndicate 2454, and described him as an experienced underwriter with technical energy expertise and broker relationships.
Reinsurance News also noted that Wilson joins ASR from Helyx Group, where he most recently served as Head of Energy, with prior experience across Lloyd’s, company and MGA markets, including downstream energy and additional exposure to upstream, midstream and power.
