NGEx expands high-grade Jupiter and Saturn zones at Lunahuasi project

New drill results include Jupiter intercepts of 10 metres at 0.88% copper, 3.14 g/t gold, and 12.2 g/t silver, plus Saturn returns as drilling continues under the stage 4 program.

NGEx Minerals said drill assays from its Lunahuasi copper-gold-silver project in northern Argentina extended mineralization at two targets, the Jupiter and Saturn zones. The company highlighted hole DPDH077 in Jupiter, which cut 10 metres grading 0.88% copper, 3.14 grams gold per tonne, and 12.2 grams silver from 89 metres depth.

NGEx also reported a higher-grade Jupiter interval within that hole, including 7.6 metres at 18.84% copper, 5.54 grams gold per tonne, and 336.7 grams silver. The CEO, Wojtek Wodzicki, said the Jupiter zone, originally intersected by the Lunahuasi discovery drillhole, remains a key target even though fewer holes have been drilled there than at other areas.

In the Saturn zone, hole DPDH069 returned 13 metres grading 1.07% copper, 1.31 grams gold per tonne, and 37.6 grams silver from 437 metres depth, including 135 metres at 1.18% copper, 0.81 gram gold, and 27.2 grams silver. Another Saturn hole, DPDH072, produced 34 metres at 1.43% copper, 1.8 grams gold, and 40.2 grams silver from 193 metres depth, including 6 metres at 3.75% copper, 4.82 grams gold, and 93.1 grams silver.

NGEx said the latest intersections bolster Lunahuasi’s profile as a high-grade undeveloped discovery and that drilling is continuing to expand and connect zones that could support a larger future resource, with Jupiter prioritized for the stage 5 program. The results come from the stage 4 drill campaign, totaling 27,318 metres across 32 holes, and the company said it did not specify when stage 5 would start.
