Lockton names Fiona Terry to lead Canada Global Solutions team
The appointment follows the recent arrival of CEO Stéphane Lespérance at Lockton’s Canadian business and aims to expand advisory support for multinational clients facing multi-jurisdictional risks.
Lockton, a privately held independent insurance brokerage, has appointed Fiona Terry as Managing Director and National Practice Leader for its Canadian Global Solutions team.
The firm said the move is part of its strategy to expand specialist risk management capabilities for Canadian businesses with international operations, with Terry expected to help strengthen the Global Solutions offering for clients operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Lockton linked the hire to broader investment in its Canadian retail advisory team, noting it came after Stéphane Lespérance joined as Chief Executive Officer of its Canadian business.
Reinsurance News added that Terry brings experience advising on complex international insurance placements, and the company said her technical expertise and understanding of cross-border regulatory requirements are intended to support clients managing risks in global markets.
