Bitcoin and Ethereum tweet volume falls to 12-month lows
The Block says retail social chatter on Bitcoin and Ethereum is back to 2020 levels even as institutional activity has moved in the opposite direction.
Social media activity around Bitcoin and Ethereum has dropped to its lowest level in 12 months, according to The Block.
The outlet points to falling tweet volume as a sign that retail attention, measured through online chatter, has returned to levels last seen in 2020.
While institutional involvement in crypto has continued to rise, The Block says the change has not shown up in social engagement the way it did during prior periods of retail focus.
