Rocket hires Jim Dalrymple as principal of industry relations
The new role centers on building ties with MLSs, trade groups, brokers, and technology partners across the housing industry.
Rocket has hired Jim Dalrymple as principal of industry relations, a position focused on strengthening relationships with MLSs, trade associations, brokerage leaders, and technology partners across the housing sector, Redfin News reported.
Dalrymple joins Rocket after more than seven years at Inman, where he most recently served as editorial director, covering topics including brokerage and MLS innovation, mortgage lending, proptech, market trends, and industry policy.
In his new role, Rocket said Dalrymple will help deepen connections with industry stakeholders and ensure that the people shaping real estate policy understand what Rocket is building and why it matters for consumers, according to Redfin News.
Rocket also noted that Joe Rath, head of industry relations, sees Dalrymple as bringing credibility and trusted relationships developed through years of reporting, the outlet added.
