WinnCompanies and Arch Communities finish $47 million Braintree apartments

The 56-unit, five-story project, The Eastwalk, was built on the long-vacant Braintree Electric Light Department power plant site.

ConnectCRE reports that WinnCompanies and development partner Arch Communities have completed The Eastwalk, a 56-unit, transit-oriented, mixed-income apartment project in Braintree, Massachusetts.

The Eastwalk is a five-story development built on the long-vacant location of the Braintree Electric Light Department power plant, with the project costing $47 million.

ConnectCRE says federal, state and local officials joined WinnCompanies executives for a tour of the community, which offers a range of bedroom sizes for low-income, middle-income and market-rate households.
