Wheat Foods Council appoints Sheri Glazier as executive director
Glazier will take over the role on Aug. 18, after the council had been led by its executive committee since May 2025.
The Wheat Foods Council has named Sheri Glazier as its next executive director, with her start date set for Aug. 18, according to World Grain.
Glazier is described as a veteran wheat farmer and a registered dietitian from Loyal, Okla., and she founded Dirt Road Dietitian, a program combining nutrition science with agriculture, and GROWN, a cross-industry education platform focused on relationships between agriculture, nutrition experts and consumers.
She has also worked as a consultant dietitian for the Oklahoma Beef Council since 2016, and earlier served as a clinical dietitian with Mercy, a physician-led integrated health system across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
The council said it had been run by its executive committee since May 2025, after Tim O’Connor stepped down to pursue other opportunities, and Roots & Legacies was engaged in late 2025 to conduct an organizational analysis and develop a position description for the vacant leadership role.
