Farmers rolls out new tools to make insurance coverage easier to parse

The initiative includes a “Coverage on a Page” resource, plus complimentary coverage review sessions, and began rolling out July 13.

Farmers Insurance has launched an enterprise initiative aimed at making insurance coverage easier to understand and more transparent for consumers, positioning the effort as a shift toward clearer communication before customers need help. Insurance Journal reports that Farmers says the strategy is built around reducing jargon and making coverage options easier to navigate.

Farmers is introducing a new “Farmers Coverage on a Page” resource, along with a coverage snapshot included in select Farmers auto and home policies that is meant to plainly show what is covered and what is not. The carrier also plans to offer complimentary Farmers Coverage Review sessions where consumers can discuss current coverage and identify opportunities to change coverage, save money, or both.

Farmers said the initiative extends beyond products and services to update its visual identity and communications, including simplified layouts and a high-contrast color palette. The company began rolling out the changes on July 13 across advertising, digital platforms, and other customer touchpoints, and said the materials will feature a distinctive pink hue for differentiation.
