REMAX’s Chris Lim joins American Real Estate Association board

Lim says his ARA board work will emphasize practical, accessible agent education and advocacy as policies and market conditions change quickly.

REMAX president and chief growth officer Chris Lim has joined the board of the American Real Estate Association, an industry group positioning itself as a challenger in the agent-representation landscape, HousingWire reports.

Lim said the focus of his ARA role will be on practical education for agents, along with support for the group’s advocacy efforts, citing fast-changing policies and market dynamics as key challenges for agents.

He said he wants to help build an educational framework that agents can use immediately, including tools related to communication and negotiation, and strategies for positioning agents as trusted advisors.

Lim added that he aims for agents’ value to be clearly understood and their work protected and elevated as real estate continues to evolve, while advocacy brings clarity during the transition.
