Beazley names Paul Ramiz Parametric Underwriter

Ramiz will focus on scaling Beazley’s parametric insurance capabilities and delivering alternative risk transfer solutions for clients.

Beazley, a specialist insurer, has appointed Paul Ramiz as Parametric Underwriter, tasking him with supporting the global development of the firm’s parametric insurance offerings.

According to Reinsurance News, the hire is intended to help Beazley deliver alternative risk transfer solutions for clients, further strengthening its transition risk and parametric capabilities.

Ramiz previously spent eight years at Aon, most recently as a Director in the firm’s Reinsurance Innovation and Solutions team, where he worked on parametric re and insurance, alternative risk transfer, and reinsurance broking.
