Bromley to redevelop Stetson Law Center into Tampa mixed-use project

Bromley is targeting a 6.5-acre site with plans for 664 multifamily units and about 440,000 square feet of office space, subject to Tampa City Council rezoning approval.

Stetson University College of Law plans to modernize its Tampa Law Center and redevelop a currently underutilized area with help from Bromley Companies, ConnectCRE reports.

The proposed project would keep Stetson Law on site while adding new uses including hotel rooms, apartments, and restaurants. The redevelopment is planned in phases so Stetson’s classes and property operations would not be disrupted, ConnectCRE said.

On the 6.5-acre site, Bromley envisions 664 multifamily units, 440,000 square feet of office space, and 37,000 square feet of retail. The university has filed a rezoning application, which will require approval from Tampa City Council.

ConnectCRE also notes that Stetson University will retain ownership of the Stetson Law Center and will have permanent access to the planned hotel and parking garage.
