Dream Finders Homes adds Steve Fischer to board and audit committee
The NYSE-listed builder said Fischer’s appointment comes as it navigates a higher-rate environment and assesses growth and capital-allocation strategies.
Dream Finders Homes Inc. has appointed Steve Fischer, president of The Pitney Bowes Bank, to its board of directors and audit committee, the company announced on Friday morning, according to HousingWire.
Fischer brings more than 30 years of experience in banking, financial services, and public accounting, with prior executive roles including president and CEO of TIAA Bank, CFO of EverBank Financial Corp., and more than 18 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, HousingWire reported.
The appointment adds what the company described as corporate finance, capital-markets, and risk-management depth as Dream Finders operates in a higher-rate environment, with the builder also evaluating growth plans and capital allocation amid tighter credit and shifting demand patterns.
HousingWire also noted that Dream Finders recently named Rich Beckwitt, the former co-CEO and co-president of Lennar Corp., as co-chairman of its board earlier this week.
