Zoox issues software recall after robotaxi drove into heavy smoke
Amazon’s Zoox has issued a software recall after one of its robotaxis drove into an active emergency fire scene that was clouded with smoke, CNBC Markets reported.
Zoox said the incident involved an unoccupied robotaxi that entered the emergency scene last month, according to the report.
CNBC World published the same account, citing Zoox’s explanation for the recall and the circumstances of the vehicle’s movement into the smoky environment.
