Ant unveils Agentar 2.0 as Chinese firms push AI agent platforms for enterprises
Ant Digital Technologies said its Agentar 2.0 platform includes 200 pre configured digital expert templates to help companies deploy autonomous AI workers without building from scratch.
Chinese tech companies are expanding offerings for enterprise artificial intelligence agents, a push highlighted at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai that runs for four days and ends on Monday, according to SCMP Economy.
At the summit, Ant Group and other major players including Tencent Holdings, Alibaba Group Holding and Baidu showcased products aimed at integrating AI into real world business operations, signaling intensified domestic competition for enterprise clients as agent based adoption accelerates.
Ant Digital Technologies, the digital technology arm of Alibaba’s fintech affiliate Ant Group, unveiled Agentar 2.0, described as a commercial AI agent super factory. The upgraded system, built on a version launched last year, features 200 pre configured “digital expert templates” and hundreds of out of the box agent tools, according to Ant Digital.
Ant Group CEO Cyril Han Xinyi said the effort is focused on restructuring enterprise workflows rather than only improving individual task efficiency, framing the goal as a wholesale upgrade of organizations collective productivity.
