CIM Group and Hulic buy Domain WeHo apartment community
The 166-unit property opened in fall 2017 and includes 33 units designated as affordable.
CIM Group has completed the acquisition of Domain WeHo, a 166-unit apartment community in West Hollywood, in partnership with Hulic Co., Ltd., according to ConnectCRE.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. LA Business First previously reported that RREEF Property Trust paid more than $103 million for the property in 2019.
Domain WeHo is a seven-story building at 7141 Santa Monica Blvd., with 9,185 square feet of ground-floor retail. The property, opened in fall 2017, offers studio and one- and two-bedroom residences, including 33 units designated as affordable.
ConnectCRE also notes that the building sits kitty-corner to The Lot at Formosa, a studio campus owned by CIM Group, and that CIM Group transferred ownership of the property to a shell company controlled by the firm as part of a recapitalization last year.
