The deal covers 19,752 square feet on part of the building’s 49th floor at 9 W. 57th St.

ConnectCRE reports that HarbourVest Partners will open its first New York City office at Soloviev Group’s 9 W. 57th St.

The firm signed a 10-year lease for 19,752 square feet on a portion of the building’s 49th floor.

HarbourVest, headquartered in Boston, manages more than $160 billion in assets, and the New York office is described as a milestone in the firm’s growth.

JLL vice chairman Alexander Chudnoff and associate Ava Loughlin represented HarbourVest in the lease, while CBRE represented ownership through Howard Fiddle, John Maher, Gregg Rothkin and Alex Leopold.
