JetBlue wins Spirit slots at LaGuardia, plans move to Marine Air Terminal
The deal gives JetBlue takeoff and landing slots for up to 12 roundtrip flights at LaGuardia.
JetBlue Airways has won takeoff and landing slots for up to 12 roundtrip flights at New York's LaGuardia Airport, according to CNBC Markets.
The airline said it is looking to shift its operations to the Marine Air Terminal as airlines compete for scarce airport space.
The move reflects ongoing slot battles at the airport as carriers seek additional capacity at LaGuardia.
