Prologis names Travis Harvey global head of development
Harvey replaces Greg Bauer, who retired after 30 years at Prologis, and will focus on technology and data to strengthen the company’s global development platform.
Prologis promoted Travis Harvey to lead its global development and construction platform across the Americas, Asia and Europe, Commercial Observer reports. Prologis said Harvey brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including 11 years at the company, to the role.
Harvey will replace Greg Bauer, who recently retired from Prologis after 30 years. In a statement carried by Commercial Observer, Harvey said development is central to serving customers, supporting communities, and delivering value to investors, with an emphasis on strengthening the platform and deepening the use of technology and data.
Commercial Observer also reports that Harvey’s prior position was filled by Sheila Sutton, who becomes senior vice president and head of development management for Prologis’ U.S. East region. Sutton joined Prologis in 2022 from Duke Realty, which Prologis acquired in October 2022, and Prologis cited her experience overseeing construction operations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The leadership changes come after Prologis announced its second-quarter earnings last week, with the company citing record leasing and year-to-date data center starts that already surpass full-year guidance, according to Commercial Observer.
