Samsung Biologics makes $1.8 billion all-cash bid for PolyPeptide

Samsung Biologics has made an all-cash bid for Switzerland-based PolyPeptide Group, according to CNBC Markets. The proposed deal is for 1.46 billion Swiss francs, which CNBC World reported as equivalent to about $1.8 billion.
Samsung Biologics said the offer is 100% cash, reflecting a fully cash transaction structure for the acquisition.
