Blueprint buys Broadmoor Plaza in Mesquite in $45M retail deal

The 86,302-square-foot Broadmoor Plaza is 100% leased and anchored by Dollar Tree, Five Below, and Hibbet Sports, while a separate Towne Crossing development was also acquired in a combined $45 million transaction.

Blueprint Investment Properties acquired the 100%-leased Broadmoor Plaza in Mesquite, according to ConnectCRE. The shopping center spans 86,302 square feet and underwent a renovation. It is anchored by a Dollar Tree, Five Below, and Hibbet Sports, with other regional and national tenants included. ConnectCRE also notes that Newport Capital Partners bought the Towne Crossing development around the same time. The Dallas Business Journal, as cited by ConnectCRE, said David Disney of Disney Investment Group helped facilitate both deals, which were valued at a combined $45 million. Towne Crossing is a 167,957-square-foot development anchored by a Kroger and reported as 92% leased. The property includes 31 tenants, including Hertz and Citi Trends, and was previously owned by Phillips Edison & Co., a publicly traded REIT.
