Chris Loake appointed CIO at emerging-risks insurer CFC
Loake will also join CFC’s Executive Committee in November, with a mandate to scale its global technology and digital distribution capabilities.
CFC, a specialist insurance provider focused on emerging risks, has appointed Chris Loake as Chief Information Officer, tasking him with driving the company’s technology strategy to support its digital distribution goals.
The role includes building on prior innovation at CFC, including one-question quoting, automated renewals, and agentic underwriting.
Reinsurance News reports Loake will join CFC’s Executive Committee in November. Most recently, he served as Group CIO at Hiscox, where he led global technology transformation efforts, including work on AI.
CFC Chair John Howard said technology and innovation have been central to the company’s momentum, adding that Loake will help scale the business globally and accelerate the adoption of AI across CFC’s operations.
