HomeAdvantage and Valley First launch a 20% real estate rewards program
The cash reward is equal to 20% of a participating agent’s commission on qualifying transactions, after closing, for Valley First’s members across 12 Central Valley counties.
HomeAdvantage partnered with Valley First Credit Union to launch a co-branded real estate rewards program that provides eligible members access to a vetted agent network and a cash reward after their transaction closes, HousingWire reports.
Under the agreement, Valley First members can use the HomeAdvantage Real Estate Rewards Program to connect with participating agents, with the post-closing cash reward set at 20% of the participating agent commission on qualifying transactions, subject to program terms and state rules.
The Modesto, California-based credit union, which has $1.1 billion in assets and serves members across 12 counties through eight branches, will offer members a platform that includes a co-branded website for searching active listings, neighborhood data, home value estimates, saving favorite homes, creating custom property searches, and connecting with participating agents.
HousingWire notes that the partnership reflects a broader trend of credit unions expanding beyond traditional deposit and lending offerings by bundling real estate search and incentives around members’ mortgage and purchase activity.
