Pershing Square Holdings appoints Ranjani Kearsley to its board

The appointment takes effect July 20, 2026, and adds insurance-linked securities experience to Pershing Square Holdings’ oversight.

Bill Ackman-linked investment holding company Pershing Square Holdings has appointed Ranjani Kearsley, an independent non-executive director and current Twelve Securis board executive, to its board, bringing insurance-linked securities experience to the group, according to Artemis.

Kearsley works at investment firm B-FLEXION, where she serves as Head of Asset Management in the Group Investments Office, and has more than 25 years of experience across portfolio oversight, strategy, human capital and sustainability-related roles in asset management, private equity and principal investing.

The move comes after Howard Hughes Holdings acquired Vantage Group Holdings, with Pershing Square set to manage Vantage’s investment assets going forward. As part of that acquisition, Pershing Square Holdings subscribed for $1 billion of non-voting exchangeable perpetual preferred stock issued by Howard Hughes Holdings, Artemis reports.

Artemis also notes that Pershing Square Holdings’ role differs from Vantage, but the link runs through the AdVantage collateralized underwriting strategy, while Kearsley continued to serve as a board member of Twelve Securis after Twelve Capital acquired Securis and B-FLEXION maintained its partnership with the combined ILS investment manager. Kearsley’s Pershing Square Holdings board appointment is effective July 20, 2026.
